Daphne A. Ross, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, in Huber Heights, Ohio. Born on April 7, 1963, in Waco, Texas, she lived a life marked by warmth, resilience, and kindness.

Daphne touched many lives through her genuine care and thoughtful nature. With each chapter of her life, Daphne displayed a steadfast commitment to those she loved, building lasting connections wherever she went.

Known for her grace and generosity, Daphne is fondly remembered for her unwavering support of friends and family, her gentle wisdom, and her ability to foster togetherness. Those who knew her recall the comfort of her presence and the sincerity of her compassion.

Though she has departed this world, Daphne’s legacy endures in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. She leaves behind memories of laughter, shared moments, and an enduring example of quiet strength.

Daphne graduated from Stebbins High School, Class of 1981 and she earned her Associate's Degree in Office Management from Sinclair Community College. She retired from KTH in St. Paris, where she worked on robots for several years. She was always keeping up with the latest technology and was an avid animal lover, especially dogs and fish.

Daphne was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Rohl and father, Kenneth Echols.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Boggs; fiance, Chuck Colwell; step-mother, Carol Echols; and her beloved dogs: Jax, Bella, Gizmo, Teddy, Gigi and Luna.

Daphne's family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.  Contributions may be made in Daphne's memory to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
