Danny Lee Sparks
February 11, 1949 — December 4, 2020
Danny Lee Sparks, 71, formerly of Moraine, of Huber Heights, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 4, 2020.
Danny was born February 11, 1949 in Batesville, Indiana to the late Raymond O. and Ruby (Gilbert) Sparks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Carl R. Sparks and his mother-in-law, Zola Teague .
Danny is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years Vicky (Flaugher) Sparks; his brother, Timothy (Teresa) Sparks; nieces Brandy (Adam) Baker and Tiffany Sparks; great nieces and nephews, Madelynn Baker, Jaclyn Sparks, Brandon greenfield, Hannah Baker, Aiden Baker and Cole Baker; his step-mother-in-law, Mary Lou Johnson, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Danny was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy; and was a retired Montgomery County Truck Driver after many years of service. He will always be remembered for being such a kind and thoughtful person.
Danny will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 11:30 am until time of service at 12:30 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. He will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to LUV4K9S Rescue, the Anderson Cancer Center of the Alzheimer's Association in Danny's memory.
