Daniel Gene Miller

Daniel G. Miller, 70, of Kettering, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.

Dan was born to Eugene and Carol Miller on February 8, 1947 and born again through faith in Christ in the late 1950's at the East Dayton Church of the Brethren.

Dan graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1965; Grace College in 1970 and Grace Theological Seminary in 1973.

Dan served the Lord in ministry at Calvary Grace Brethren Church in Kettering, Myerstown Grace Brethren Church in Pennsylvania and at the Rio Grande Bible Institute in Edinburg, Texas. Dan was also deeply involved in the family business, Daymont Printing Co. in Dayton.

Dan was an active member in the Patterson Park Church in Beavercreek from 1975 to the present. At Patterson Park, he served the Lord as Sunday School Superintendent, Children's Church coordinator, Sunday school teacher and most recently, choir "groupie".

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Eugene E. Miller. He is survived by his mother, Carol; his wife, Penny (Puls); two sons, Nathan D. (Sarah) and Jonathan D. (Kristen); his sister, Sharon (Ron); his brother, Asher (Polly); several nieces and a nephew.

Dan loved to study God's Word. He encouraged others by his upbeat demeanor through several physical challenges.

Services for Dan will take place at Patterson Park Church on Tuesday, January 2 at 11:00AM . Greeting the family will begin at 9:30am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Hospice of Dayton or Patterson Park Church, debt reduction fund in Dan's name.
