Daniel Ray Breitenstein

Daniel Ray Breitenstein, of Dayton, was born on April 5, 1973, in Dayton and passed away there on October 30, 2026. His life was marked by a quiet strength of character and by the qualities that endeared him to those around him. He will be remembered as a loyal, kind, and caring man whose presence brought comfort and steadiness to family and friends alike.

Daniel leaves behind a circle of love that reflects the place he held in the lives of others. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Eakins, and by his brother, Scott Breitenstein. In addition to them, he is also survived by many loving family members and friends who will carry his memory forward with affection and gratitude. Those who knew Daniel will remember not only the goodness of his nature, but also the warmth and sincerity he shared so freely.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday November 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Willow View Cemetery, 2500 Neff Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
