Damita Henry

Damita Joellan Henry, 59, of Springfield, OH went home to meet the Lord on 10 Aug 15. She is survived by sister Sonya Henry-Hammond of Northfield Village, OH; brother Karl Henry II of Fairborn, OH; "Aunt Mimi" had several nieces Octavia Lipford-Cruz, Tia Turner, Jenna Schmid, Linda Wei, Agwanda Lewis and nephews Karl Henry III, Michael Hammond Jr.; great-nephews Kehli Walton and Mason Schmid with a great niece on the way. Damita was preceded in death by her parents Jane Delores Henry- Ransome and Karl Henry Sr.; step-father Douglas Ransome and a sister Sabrina Henry-Lewis. She attended Springfield's Town & Country and worked for thirty-five years at TAC Enterprises in support of contracts with Wright Patterson AFB. Damita had wonderful friends and family in which she lived with and loved very much. A visitation will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, Monday, August 17, 2015 from 12:30pm-1:30pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:30pm. Burial will take place at Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio.
