Dallas Moon III

Dallas Moon III, age 67, born January 11, 1958 to Dorothy and Dallas Moon Jr. in Dayton, Ohio. 

He graduated from Patterson High School. Dallas then went on to serve 16 years in the United States Army. He earned a Degree in Business. Dallas was a loyal member of Post 328. He worked many capacities-his favorite job was working on cars. 

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and Dallas Moon Jr.; his brother, Michael D. Moon; and sister, Sherry L. Moon. 

Dallas leaves to cherish his memory a wife of 26 years, Shirley A. Moon; a daughter, Latoya Moon; 4 Sons, Dwayne Harris, Tyler Moon, Sgt. Matthew Moon, and Eric Kelso; 4 sisters, Michelle Moon, Karon Moon, Melissa Moon Yageen, and Renee Williams; one brother, Stephen Moon; mother-in-law, Alice Taylor; brother-in-law, Eddie B. Wright III; sister-in-law, Darlene Dortch; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin; and other loving family members and close dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 12-1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin at 1pm.
