Daisy Stover, a kind and loving individual, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on October 14, 1929, in Livingston, Tennessee, Daisy's life was a testament to devotion, faith, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Daisy left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her nurturing spirit and generosity were evident in her relationships, and she was a remarkable example of faith for her family, consistently sharing her love for God and His teachings through her daily actions. Daisy spent countless hours reading her Bible, instilling values of compassion and kindness in her children and grandchildren.
Beyond her spiritual commitments, Daisy found joy in gardening, cooking, and canning, often sharing her home-cooked meals, canned and baked goods, including treasured recipes with loved ones. These fruits of her labor became a central part of family gatherings and celebrations. Her ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere made her home a welcoming haven for family and friends alike.
Daisy is survived by her three children, June (Jim) Garrett, Jessie Woods, and Ron Stover. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Maria (Clint) Lagrone and Eddie (Alisha) Stover, as well as her great-grandchildren, Jace, Casen, Logan, Cody, Ryan, Noah, and Ashley. Daisy also cherished her great-great-grandchildren, alongside a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who adored her dearly.
Daisy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Stover; parents, Billie Morgan and Rosa Garrett, as well as her son, Robert Stover, and her son-in-law, Benny Woods, and daughter-in-law, Trish Stover. She also is survived by the cherished memory of her grandchildren Angela, Mark, and Adam Carroll, who have gone before her.
Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know or be touched by her spirit. Daisy Stover will be profoundly missed, but her impact will continue to resonate through the generations that follow.
