Cynthia Williams

Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Williams, age 55, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on November 26, 1969, in Troy, Ohio, and was a proud graduate of Troy High School.

Cindy dedicated her life to caring for others, building a long and meaningful career as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). Of all the places she served, her most cherished time was at Wood Glen Alzheimer’s Community, where she spent 13 years making a lasting impact on countless residents and their families through her compassion and dedication.

A woman of strong faith, Cindy was a devoted member of Southbrook Christian Church. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—watching true crime shows, cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Her happiest moments were those surrounded by love and laughter.

Cindy is survived by her beloved children: De’arius Williams, Bradley Stephan, Christopher Frazier, Bridget Wilson, Tasha Williams, Darrius Williams, Courtne Razor, and Lovaughn Howard. She also leaves behind her siblings: Tresa McKinney, Bonita Hopkins, and Bill Chrisman; 20 grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Darius Williams; her mother, Carol Kaufman; father, Oscar Russell; nephew, Nathan Wintrow; and many other cherished loved ones.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459), with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to assist Cindy’s family with final expenses would be deeply appreciated.
