Cynthia Elizabeth Luebke, affectionately known as Suzi, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 24, 1949, Suzi was a beacon of kindness and warmth, touching the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A graduate of Chaminade-Julienne High School, Suzi furthered her education by obtaining an Associate Degree. Her career included notable positions at Meade, the University of Dayton, and Lexis-Nexis, where she dedicated her talents and commitment to excellence.
Suzi was an incredibly loving mother whose proudest achievements were her children, Eric (Christina) Luebke, Taylor (Tiphanie) Luebke, and Kristen (Andy) Gaugh. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, Owen, Brandon, Chase, Lily, Ellie, and Brooks, often engaging in laughter and joy as they created lasting memories together. Her gentle spirit and kind demeanor ensured that her home was a safe haven for her family and friends alike.
In her younger years, Suzi found great happiness at the beach, a pleasure that reflected her love for family outings and shared experiences. Her nurturing nature extended to her community, as she dedicated her time to cooking for the brothers at Bergamo Monastery in Kettering for many years. This was just one of the many ways she showed her love for others, as her caring heart inspired kindness wherever she went.
Suzi is survived by her children and grandchildren, and her sister, Patricia Partlow. She joins her beloved parents, John and Dorothy Flanagan, in eternal rest. Suzi’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Walnut Creek Nursing Home and Hospice of Dayton, as well as her physician, Dr. Wheeler.
