Cynthia “Cindy” Lou Hill, born Cynthia Lou Marlow on February 28, 1947, in Duff, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2026, in Panama City, Florida, while spending treasured time with her family on vacation. She was 79 years old.

Cindy’s journey began in the heart of Tennessee, where she was born to George and Ruby Marlow. Throughout her life, she embodied faith, resilience, and a deep devotion to her loved ones. In January 1963, she married her beloved husband, Hubert "Bubby" Hill, embarking together on a partnership that stood as the foundation of her life until his passing.

Cindy’s greatest accomplishment was her family, who brought her immeasurable joy. she is survived by her devoted daughter, Lisa Herzog, and son-in-law, Joey Herzog; her adoring granddaughters, Jessica Herzog and Chelsea Herzog; and her cherished great-granddaughter, Maya Herzog. Her siblings, Carolyn (Darrell) Reese and Linda (Bill) Berry; her brothers, George (Theresa) Marlow, Stevie "Pete" (Alena) Marlow, Gary (Beth) Marlow, and Joey (Joy) Marlow; her sister-in-law, Glenda Hill; and brother-in-law, Harley Hill, also survive her, each sharing a unique place in her heart and her story. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Hill, father, George Marlow, her mother, Ruby Marlow, sisters Sandra Thacker and Kathy Jones, and her beloved son, Mickey Hill.

Cindy was a woman of many passions and simple joys. She found peace and purpose in tending her garden, nurturing flowers that brightened her home and spirit. Faith was central in Cindy’s life, and she was steadfast in reading her Bible and attending church, drawing strength and guidance from her beliefs. Quiet moments watching westerns were among her favorite ways to relax, reflecting her appreciation for timeless stories and tradition.

Throughout her life, Cindy touched those around her with kindness and grace. Her unwavering moral compass and compassionate nature made her a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. The bonds she formed remain a testament to a life well-lived, full of love and meaningful connection.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate and honor Cindy’s life at a visitation on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Both will be held at Redemption Christian Tabernacle, located at 11780 N Dixie Dr, Tipp City, Ohio. Cindy will be laid to rest at Preble Memorial Garden, 3377 U.S. 35, West Alexandria, Ohio.

Cynthia “Cindy” Lou Hill’s memory will continue to inspire all who knew her. She leaves behind a loving family who will carry forward her legacy of faith, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those she loved.
