Curtis "Greg" Dawson, born September 6, 1935, in Berkley Springs, West Virginia, passed away on June 14, 2026, in Springboro, Ohio. Greg was a distinguished Senior Systems Engineer at NCR, where he dedicated many years of his career prior to his retirement. His professional contributions were marked by a deep commitment to excellence and innovation in his field.
Beyond his professional achievements, Greg proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, a service that stood as a testament to his steadfast dedication and patriotism. His love for his country and his faith in God remained central throughout his life.
In his early years, Greg would fish in his hometown of Berkley Springs, a pastime that he remembered fondly throughout his life. Family was the cornerstone of Greg's existence. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones, especially his grandson, who held a particularly special place in his heart.
Greg is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Donnie Millar) Gallion; grandson, Ronnie (Alexis) Gallion, III; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Ronnie, IV Gallion; step-children, Patricia (Terry) Ritchie and John (Judy) Gould; as well as numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Mark (Ethelene) Dawson, his sister-in-law, Phyllis Dawson, and a wide circle of extended family members and friends who stood alongside him throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Emil and Tressa (Spriggs) Dawson; his wife, Jacquelyn Dawson; and his brother, Emil Dawson.
Curtis "Greg" Dawson's legacy is marked by a lifelong commitment to his family, his country, and his professional pursuits. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
