Listen to Obituary

Cristin Starks “Cris” Allen, 42, of Enon, Ohio, passed away on August 31, 2026, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Madrid, Spain, Cris moved to Fairborn, Ohio, around the age of five. He attended Fairborn High School and later earned his certified welding certificate from Cincinnati Job Corps. Although trained as a welder, Cris’s love of driving, the open road, and adventure led him to a career as a truck driver. After spending a short time driving over the road, he chose to drive locally so he could be home more often with his family. At the time of his passing, Cris was employed by Kes Harris Trucking.

Cris lived life with an adventurous spirit. He loved riding motorcycles, four-wheelers, and dirt bikes; working on his vehicles; and learning how things worked. He enjoyed fishing, boating, being on the water, and especially spending time near the ocean. He also loved road trips to Delaware to visit family—trips that were not complete without stopping by the beach and picking up some scrapple.

Even after a previous accident, Cris’s passion for motorcycles remained. Being on his bike gave him a sense of freedom that was difficult to find anywhere else.

For all the things Cris enjoyed, family was always at the center of his life. He was someone who showed up for the people he loved. His world revolved around Tiffany, his children, his mother, his siblings, his nieces and nephews, and the many friends who became family along the way.

Cris loved bringing everyone together, hosting holidays, get together, and cook outs for the people he loved. And, as anyone fortunate enough to have attended one of those cookouts already knows, he was the best at barbecue—and Cris probably would not have entertained an argument about it.

He was competitive and especially dangerous with a pool cue in his hand. A true pool shark, Cris did not just play for fun—he played to win, and he was never shy about letting you know when he did.

Cris loved to laugh and was always ready with a joke—sometimes with you and sometimes about you. His sense of humor could be a little dark, his timing was unforgettable, and no one around him was ever completely safe from becoming part of the punchline. His laughter, quick wit, and ability to find humor in almost any situation will be deeply missed.

Cris also shared a special bond with his loyal four-legged best friend, Dior, who was rarely far from his side.

He was preceded in death by his father, Starks H. Allen; his sister, Michelle L. Carter Wiggins; his grandparents, Anita and Gentry Mills.Cris leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lillian Allen; his beloved partner in crime, Tiffany Wiedenheft; his children, Amonte Allen, Amiah Allen, Amari Allen, Kyra Bobbitt, and Paige Webb; his brothers, Earl Ireland and Tony Allen; his sister, Brandi Moses;; his nephews, Dovian Carter and Mason Carter; his nieces, Jaydn Wiggins, Mariah Allen and Ariyah; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who became family—far too many to count.

Cris lived boldly, loved deeply, and laughed loudly. He will be remembered for his loyalty, his adventurous spirit, his unforgettable sense of humor, and the way he always showed up for the people he loved.

Public visitation will be held for Cris at New Season Ministry (5711 Shull Rd Huber Heights, Dayton) on Saturday September 12, 2026 at 10:00 am with funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm.

His life ended far too soon, but the stories, laughter, and memories he gave to those who loved him will live on. Whenever the barbecue is just right, a pool table is ready, a motorcycle passes by, or sunlight dances across the open water, Cris will be remembered with a smile.

He Lived Loud

Don’t be sorry that he’s gone— Be grateful that he was here. Be grateful for every moment, Every memory, every year.

Be grateful for the sound of his laughter, For the stories, the jokes, the smile. For every conversation that lasted too long, And every moment that made life worthwhile.

He was a Black man who lived loud, With a spirit too big to hide. He loved hard, he laughed often, And he carried his heart with pride.

He didn’t just walk into a room— He brought his presence with him. You knew when he was there. You felt him before you saw him.

He loved his people fiercely. He showed up. He gave. He cared. And if you were lucky enough to be loved by him, You knew just how deeply he shared.

So don’t let grief make you forget The blessing that his life became. Don’t only remember the day he left— Remember the life behind his name.

Remember the laughter. Remember the love. Remember the stories you’ll tell for years. Remember the moments that still make you smile, Even through the tears.

Because a man like him doesn’t simply disappear. He leaves pieces of himself behind— In the people he loved, In the lessons he taught, In the memories we carry in our minds.

So today, we don’t just mourn a man. We celebrate the life he lived. A life lived loud. A life loved hard. A life full of laughter.

And every time we laugh a little louder, Love a little harder, Or tell one of his stories again, He’ll be right there with us.

Not forgotten. Not gone from our hearts. Just living on In every memory he gave us.
