Craig Blankenship, 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was the loving father of Joshua (Christy) Blankenship, Jennifer Blankenship, and Alex (Amanda Leetch) Blankenship, cherished grandfather of Carter, Jordan, Jackson, Carly and Benjamin, and adored brother of Chris Blankenship and Allyse Kerns. He is also survived by many other family and friends.

Craig was proceeded in death by his parents Homer and June Blankenship and sister Anita Stidham.

Craig was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Temple (Dayton, OH) for over 40 years where he served as a Sunday School teacher and head usher. He enjoyed spending time boating with his kids and their friends in his free time before his health declined. Craig spent 17 years working for the USPS as a letter carrier. In recent years, he loved spending every moment possible with his grandkids. He especially enjoyed baking sweet treats with his granddaughter Carly.

Public visitation will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Temple (1707 Ohmer St. Dayton, Ohio 45410) on Monday May 13, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held the following day at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
