Cornell J. Brewer

Cornell J. "CJ" Brewer, age 21 of Dayton, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 9, 2018. He was born June 24, 1996 in Dayton, Ohio to Joe Brewer and Beth Johnson.

CJ graduated from Stivers High School in 2015 and enjoyed drawing, listening to music with his Mom and looking at videos on his phone with his Dad. He loved the company of his dog Jax and especially loved spending time with his cousin Lexi. CJ enjoyed hanging out with the Brewer boys, enjoying food and beverages. He enjoyed discovering new things and he never met a stranger, making friends everywhere he went. CJ loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Cornell is survived by his parents Joe and Beth; his maternal grandparents, Lee and Merritta Johnson "Mawie and Pawie"; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Ellison "Mamaw"; aunts, Jill Johnson, Judy (Tom) Vann and Robin Peyton; his uncle, Ronnie (Tammy) Brewer; his special cousin Lexi Johnson; and other numerous cousins, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bill Brewer; and Glen Ellison.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Woodland Cemetery.
