Corey Eugene Smith, age 50, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2020. He was born in Dayton on January 26, 1970.
Corey was an avid Seahawks football fan. He had a passion for fashion and cooking. Corey worked at DMax (GM) for over 13 years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 16 years, Elizabeth Smith-Wright and his paternal grandmother.
Corey is survived by his daughters, Talonda (Shanton) Wright, Erica Simmons, Patricia (Timothy) Thaler, Corrie Smith and Sydney Smith; grandchildren, Jayden, Kyran, Eriyon, Kevin Jr., Khristian, Karter, Karah, Jadah and Jayionah; father, Teddy Burrell; mother, Francine Smith; siblings, Alonna Smith and Teddy Henderson; nephew, Jody; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will have a balloon release on Sunday, June 21, 2020 on Oxford Ave at 12pm.
