Corena Richards

Corena Richards, age 84, of Dayton, passed away July 6, 2025. Corena was born in Eolia, Kentucky on December 23, 1940 to the late Harrsion and Sarah Bowman.

Corena was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 19 years, Joseph Richards; and her sister, Nola (Earl) Howard.

She is survived by niece, Jill Cost; friend, Brenda White; nephews, Rick Howard and Greg Howard; friend, Seth Ellerthorpe; as well as her sister-in-law, Betty.

Corena worked Nabisco for over 20 years and then Eskco for over 10 years. She was a member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church for many years.

In her free time, she enjoyed growing tomatoes and reading the newspaper.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 11:00am.

Corena will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton following the service.
