Comer L. Henry III

Comer L. Henry III, age 62 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2026. He was born July 9, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio. The son of Comer L. Henry Jr. and Barbara Henry.

Comer was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. After high school he went on to college to earn his degrees in Counseling. He was an addiction counselor for over 10 years, assisting those in overcoming their addictions and life struggles. Comer known for his "its a great day to be clean", had a passion of just helping those around him in need. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Comer was preceded in death by his father, Comer L. Henry Jr.

He is survived by his mother Barbara Henry; siblings, Yolanda Veasley, Toya (Rory) Henry, Monique (Charles) Williams, Zelda (Alvin) Pruitt, and Letitia (Otis) Person; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 from 2-3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A memorial service will begin at 3pm.
