Colleen Marie Hayes

Colleen Marie Leary Hayes, born on January 30, 1948, passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 77. She is survived by her loving partner, Robert Key III; her sister, Sharon Elayne Leary Snyder; her niece, Aimee LeEllen Winters Thomas, and family; her stepmother, Karen Denise Leary; her brothers, Matthew Duncan (and family) and Sean Patrick Leary. Colleen was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Ellen Archer Leary, and her father, Max Harrison Leary.

Colleen dedicated 35 years of her life to her career as a Respiratory Therapist at the Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, where she made a significant impact on the lives of countless children and their families.

Outside of her profession, Colleen had a passion for photography and loved to capture her travels through her lens. She found immense joy in reading, needlework, and various arts and crafts. Some of her favorite travel destinations included Ireland, England, Scotland, Germany, Norway, Spain, and Hawaii, with a special fondness for Ireland due to her heritage.
