Codie Michael Smiley Knabe

Knabe, Codie Michael Smiley, 25, of Miamisburg, passed away April 1, 2017.

He was born December 16, 1991 in Dayton, Ohio to Gary Wayne Roberson and Catherine Rae Knabe. Codie graduated from Fairmont High School in Kettering. He loved racing, starting with quarter midgets at the age of 5 with his Papaw and Mamaw, Bill and Linda Smiley. He won many awards in autocrossing and kart racing. Codie also enjoyed fishing with his dad and working on cars.

He is survived by his son, Carson Rae Knabe; his girlfriend, Jordan Koeller; his dad, Gary (Melissa) Roberson; his mamaw, Linda Smiley; papaw, Gary Roberson Sr.; his brother, Ash Knabe; his sister, Drava Knabe; step-father, John Knabe; his beloved dog, Roxanne and numerous relatives, friends and his racing family.

Codie was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Rae Knabe and his papaw, Bill Smiley.
