Clyde David Roberts Jr.

Clyde David Roberts Jr., age 89 of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022. He was born January 21, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Clyde and Annette Roberts Sr.

Dave proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a man of great faith who loved the Lord. He enjoyed hiking and biking.

Loving husband of Leona Louise Roberts of 26 years; loving father of Mindy (Kelly) Knight; step-children, Kathie (Art) VanDeraa, Ted (Lisa) Drake and Maria (Michael) Martinez. Survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and sister, Janice (Tom) Holtz.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy (Jim) Carlock & Marjorie (Joe) Dolkowski; grandson, Kody Knight and step granddaughter, Melissa Martinez.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Cornerstone Baptist Temple (1707 Ohmer Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45410) from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and a service following at 4:00 pm. Pastor Jerry Siler will be officiating. Burial will take place on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at David's Cemetery (4600 Mad River Road, Kettering, Ohio 45429).
