Clifford Earl "Cliff" Harmon, 89, of Miamisburg, went home to be with His Lord on August 29, 2019.
He was born on May 20, 1930 to Clarence and Alice (Spear) Harmon in Broken Bow, NE.
Cliff was a Jack of All Trades; he had a passion for remodeling and building things. He followed in his father's footsteps and became a carpenter until pursuing a career as a machinist. Cliff was also a proud maintenance custodian for Oakwood city schools, earning recognition from the faculty and student body. "Cliff our custodian, has a great sense of humor. He's friendly and kind; a real Harman do-er!"
He was an honest, hard-working man. Cliff kept busy in his free time when he wasn't spending time with his family. He loved his grandkids, great grandkids, and honorary grandkids very deeply.
On December 26, 1952, he married Ruth Fay Harmon (Hoy) in Hastings, NE. Clifford and Ruth moved to Miamisburg, OH where they raised two daughters.
He was a member of Miamisburg Assembly of God for over 40 years. He made several Mission trips and traveled to places like Alaska and Romania, assisting in the needs of the local churches respectively. Cliff and Ruth took many trips to Israel which brought them great joy.
Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Ruth; daughter, Carol and her husband, Stephen Wade, their children, Emma and Andrew, his wife, Sarah, and their son, Conner; Cliff's other daughter, Lisa and her husband, Howard Gray, with their children, Michael and his wife, Haley, Matthew and his son, Isaiah, and Daniel Gray; siblings, Elsie (Bud) Applegarth, Marvin, Roy (Judy), Don (Barb), Ron (Judy), Betty (Gary) Richards; many beloved family and friends; and his dog, Lola.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alice Harmon; sister, Martha (Bob) Plummer.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2019, from 11 am to 12 pm noon at Miamisburg Assembly of God.
A closed casket Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, 12:30 pm at the Miamisburg Assembly of God (501 N 9th St. Miamisburg, Ohio 45342).
Private burial at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Miamisburg Assembly of God designated for Men's Missionary Work.
