Clarkson E. Burrell Sr, age 80 of Xenia, passed away on February 22, 2021 at Soin Medical Center. Clarkson was born on June 7, 1940 to
the late Elmer and Eva (Shaw) Burrell in Xenia, OH.
Clarkson is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Josette (Baechler) Burrell, sons, Clarkson (Rebecca) Burrell Jr. and Michael (Karen) Burrell, daughters, Belinda (Lawrence) Daye, Nancy Thompson and Kimberly (Michael) Staub, grandchildren, Jeff Burrell, Lawrence Daye II, Matthew Burrell, Marie Thompson, Jacob (Maria) Burrell, Patricia (Brandon) Griffith, Joseph Burrell, Alex Staub, Cole Staub and Connor Burrell, great grandchildren, Spencer Longnecker, Austin Burrell, Brody Burrell, Cayden Burrell, Taylor Burrell, Lucas Burrell, Gavin Burrell, Isabella Spracklen and Cassidy Burrell, brother Wayne Burrell, sisters Neva Faul, Geneva Vaughan and Sandra McNeley. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Marion Burrell, Francis Burrell and Ralph Burrell, sisters Eldora Terrell-Shaw, Donna Storer, Senith Bailey, Jeanette Smith, Jean Burrell and Clarice Williams.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 6:00 pm at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 287 West Main Street, Xenia, OH 45385 with the Rev. William Schwochow officiating. Army military honors will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
