Clark D. Looney

Clark D. Looney, 91, of Fairborn OH went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 26, 2025.

Born in Iowa, Clark was the son of Cecil and Margaret Looney. He spent his entire career with the JC Penney CO in several management positions. He was known for his business mind and as a leader others wanted to follow.

He loved the outdoors, nature, and mushroom hunting. Clark was an avid sports fan, was the captain of his college fencing team, and played tennis most of his life. As a sports fan he followed football, basketball, hockey, track & field, golf and many more. Clark was also always ready for a card game.

Clark was devoted to his wife of 72 years, creating a strong loving foundation for their family which he loved. He is survived by his spouse Sue Looney; four children, Dave Looney (Linda), Kathy Finney (Dave), Kent Looney (Lisa), and Doug Looney (Heather); seven grandchildren, Jenna Campbell (Pat), Marissa Wojcik (Joe), Katie Roberts (Tyler), Christy Lee (Eric), Joe Looney, Haley Looney, and Nick Looney. They have five great grandchildren Ella and Collin Campbell, Ethan and Henry Wojcik and Luke Roberts.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Maragret Looney; and Sister, Pat Bennett.

Clark will be remembered for his devoted love for his wife and family, his sense of humor, love for adventure and travel and his integrity.
