Clarence D. Strickland Jr.
January 16, 1952 — April 17, 2019
Clarence D. "CD" Strickland, age 67, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
Clarence was born and raised in North Carolina, a proud Tarheel! He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after serving during the Vietnam and the Gulf Wars. Clarence was a loving, faithful, and loyal husband, father and grandfather, brother and son.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Tommie Strickland; children, Drew (Anne) Strickland and Valerie (Bill) Loveall; granddaughter, Jillian Loveall; siblings, John Strickland, Susan Taylor and Shelby (Kirk) Gardner; and many dear nieces, nephews and friends. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, CD and Becky Strickland, and brothers Michael and Jody Strickland.
Clarence (CD, Daddy, Papa) will be greatly missed by so many who loved him.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 4-6pm at Forest Ridge Baptist Church, 6890 Union Schoolhouse Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424.
