Clarence M. "Mickey" Everett, Sr., 64, of Huber Heights, passed away May 3, 2017. Mickey was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 17, 1953 to Charles and Earileen (McLemore) Everett-Walton. He married Vanessa Arnold on June 10, 1972 in Dayton, OH.
Mickey graduated from Jefferson High School in 1971, and retired from Duriron in 1994, where he worked in assembly . He enjoyed playing baseball and softball, loved sports, bowling and harness racing. Mickey was also a devout Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals fan. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all.
Mickey is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Vanessa; a son Clarence "Bear" (Tiffani) Everett II; a daughter Aleisha (Timothy Jr.) Green; five grandchildren, Chynna, Seantino, Clarence "Trey" III, Aliyah and Niygel; two brothers Robert (Cynthia) Maiden and James (Teresa) Walton; two sisters Teresa Fomby and Terri White; sister and brother in law James and Tara Annette Cummings of Wilmington, North Carolina; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Charles Richard "Moby" Everett; and his stepfather Archie Walton; his father in law and mother in law, Melvin and Ruby Arnold.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Jennifer Jones and staff for their wonderful care of Mickey over the last 11 years.
Funeral services will be held on May 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424 with Rev. Marvin Arnold officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
