Clara Jo Urban

Clara Jo Urban, age 61, of Waynesville, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Inas (Humerick) Wendling, and brother-in-law, William Ingram.

Clara is survived by her husband Harold Urban; son and daughter-in-law Nathan and Denise Urban along with their sons, Nathan Jr. and Jon; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Jason Head along with their daughter Lily. She is also survived by her sister Suzan Ingram; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Suzie Wendling, Johnie and Terri Wendling, Rocky and Lori Wendling; brother, Ronnie Wendling, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Clara was a passionate follower of Christ and was a longtime member of Southbrook Church. She was also involved with Southbrook's Cancer Hope. Family was most important to Clara, and her grandchildren were her greatest joy. She was very devoted to her family and loved attending all family events. Clara always made those around her feel special and valued, and she will always be remembered for her loving and caring nature.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. from 10:30 am until time of service at 11:30 pm. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
