Clara B Mason, age 88 of Dayton, passed away October 6, 2010 at her residence. She was born October 16, 1921 in Middletown, Ohio to the late John and Clara Hicks. Preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Mason.
Clara is survived by her children: Stanley Mason, Verna Mason and Jack Mason; grandchildren: Stanley Harrison and Shelton Jones; great grandson, Stanley Harrison, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Burial to follow, along side her husband, at Dayton National Cemetery.
