Clara Mae Gyurkan, age 87 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018. She was born February 22, 1931 in Lawrence County, Kentucky to the late Courtney and Myrtle Skaggs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Gyurkan, son, James E. LeMaster; grandson, Michael Gyurkan and sister, Wanda Marshall.
Clara will be missed by her loving children, Michael Gyurkan (Bev Simmons) and Brenda Staup (fiance, Paul Zych, MD); granddaughters, Tamara (Brandon) Morrison, Lauren Keaton; grandson, Jimmy LeMaster; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Mae Morrison and Levi Morrison; brother, Robert Skaggs; brother-in-law, Lonnie (Cleo) Marshall; special niece, Marie (J.R.) Russell; special nephews, Larry (Sue) Marshall, Garry (Kathy) Marshall and Joe (Marti) Marshall and special family member Rodney Zych.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Family requests no flowers and memorials may be made to the Hospice of Miami Valley.
