Chuck Hogan, age 80 of Dayton, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born April 4, 1945 in Marion, Ohio the son of the late Clifford and Regina Hogan.
Chuck proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After the service, he worked at Tecumseh in Marion, Ohio where he met the love of his life. Later in life, he worked at Englewood Nursing Home. Chuck was a loyal Browns fan and an avid bowler. He will be remembered for his fun loving spirit and his ability to make a joke about anything; but no one was ever able to pass an April Fools joke on him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his loyal dog, Zack.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma; son, Dennis Haughn; daughter, Kathy Riley; grandchildren, Andy Haughn, Chad Riley, Melanie Riley Holycross, Jacob Haughn and Jessie Haughn; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a service to follow at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Chuck will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Xenia following the service.
