Christopher Scott "Chris" Phipps.
Chris Phipps passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Chris, the youngest son of Ruth and Roy Phipps was born on Father's Day-June 18, 1971, and raised in nearby Waynesville, Ohio.
Chris was a proud member of the Miami Valley Mopar Club (MVMC) with his 2006 Dodge Magnum, widely known as "BADMAG".
Survivors include his parents Roy & Ruth of Dayton, Ohio; one brother, LeRoy (Lisa); three sisters, Cathy (Clint), Teresa, Nicci; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
Chris loved his family and enjoyed watching his 12 nieces and nephews grow up, along with his many great nieces and great nephews. He loved all of them as if they were his very own.
Chris will be remembered for his sincerity, kindness, and eagerness to help others; which he naturally extended to everyone he met.
Chris was a deeply loved son, brother, uncle and dear friend to many. God took him to his new home in heaven at the age of 45. We will all miss our sweet Chris.
A visitation will be held from 12 noon to 1:30pm on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton where services will begin at 1:30pm with Rev. Garland Cook Jr. officiating.
Memorial donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
