Hoctel, Christopher age 38, of Kettering, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 18, 1982 to Gary Michael Hoctel and Lori H. Newman (nee Schoeps).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lori H. Newman.
Christopher is survived by his beloved and devoted aunt, Kathleen Annette Goodpaster; grandmother, Johanna Goodpaster; godparents, Terry & Gayl Sampson; many relatives in Germany; and many loving friends and care givers.
Christopher was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and moved in 1992 with his mom. He then graduated high school in Santa Barbara, CA in 2000 and attended Santa Barbara Community College. His love for music lead him to be a DJ for special occasions. Christopher moved back home to Dayton in 2014 with the love and support from his 3 mothers, Lori, Kathy "Taki", and grandma. Christopher was an amazing young man who never knew a stranger; anybody who met Christopher instantly loved him. Through his struggles with injury and hardship he never lost his loving and determined spirit.
Celebration of Life will be held by the family in the Spring.
