Christopher A. Brubaker

Christopher Allen Brubaker, age 76, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2023. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 16, 1947, to the late David and Dorthee (Harnish) Brubaker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anne (Lawrence) Brubaker of 42 years, and his sisters Catherine Howar, Diane Stanley, and Amy Brubaker.

Christopher graduated from Colonel White High School and served as an RTA driver for many years in Dayton. After he retired from the city, he worked at East Dayton Christian School for 13 years as a custodian. Chris was very active in his church, New Life Fellowship, where he volunteered his time and sang in the choir.

Chris' memory will be cherished by his son Michael Brubaker, granddaughters Alexis Brubaker and Christa Brubaker and great grandchildren Kenzy Newman and Ella Newman; brother-in-law Michael (Sharon) Lawrence and family.

Chris benefitted greatly from the friendship and kindness of Randy Hawley who oversaw the good care he received while he resided at The Villages of Huber.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at 12:30pm on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. The Memorial Service will begin at 1:00pm, with Pastor Randy Hawley officiating.
