Gardening was another hobby she adored, enriching her surroundings with nature’s beauty. She spent hours in her yard tending to flower beds and creating a beautiful landscape for her family's home. Neighbors would always comment on the hard work she put in, to ensure her yard was impeccably kept. Known for her love of decorations, particularly during the holidays, Christine meticulously crafted unique themes for every celebration, including multiple trees each Christmas, which helped create wonderful holiday memories for her family.
An avid sports fan, Christine enthusiastically supported the Columbus Bluejackets and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She and Bob enjoyed many outings to baseball, football, and hockey events, sharing countless fond memories throughout their travels across the United States. Christine's love for animals, both big and small, was evident in her nurturing spirit.
Beyond her home life, Christine's charitable contributions earned her the prestigious title of Honorable Kentucky Colonel, a testament to her giving nature and commitment to making the world a better place. Friends and family will always remember her as humble, shy yet humorous, and filled with a quiet strength that inspired those around her.
Christine is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her daughter, Jennifer Garzinski; sister-in-law, Judy Garzinski; brother-in-law, Ron (Lisa) Garzinski; nephews, Tyler and Derek Garzinski; as well as numerous loving relatives and friends.
