Chris Hill

January 4, 1960 — July 16, 2025

Huber Heights, Ohio

Chris Hill, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on July 16, 2025, in his beloved hometown of Dayton, Ohio. Born on January 4, 1960, Chris lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to those he held dear.

After graduating from Wayne High School, Class of 1978, Chris dedicated 37 years of his life to serving at UPS, where he became known as the reliable "go-to guy." His colleagues and friends often marveled at his patient and laid-back demeanor, which brought comfort to those around him. Chris took pride in lending a helping hand, always willing to assist others during both good times and bad.

Chris was a man of many passions. He had an undeniable love for muscle cars, especially Mopars, and spent countless hours restoring them to their former glory. His enthusiasm was matched only by his thrill for motorcycle adventures, beach getaways, and sunny days spent by the pool with his family. Every experience was made richer by his gentle spirit and infectious laughter.

He was deeply proud of the relationship he shared with his wife, Kara Hill. Married for 38 wonderful years and together for a remarkable 41, their bond was a true testament to love and companionship. Together, they built a life filled with beautiful memories, navigating life's ups and downs hand in hand.

Chris leaves behind a loving family that includes his son, Jake Richey, and daughter-in-law, Stephanie; his brothers, Bill Hill and his wife Johanna, and Mark Hill; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and a big extended family. Chris is also survived by his beloved Goldendoodle, Mazie Mae. Each of them carries a piece of Chris' heart with them, forever grateful for the love and joy he brought into their lives.

Chris is also reunited in peace with his parents, Bill and Juanita Hill, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dick and Joyce Kaiser, who welcomed him with open arms.

Though he may have departed from this world, Chris Hill’s spirit will forever resonate in the stories shared by family and friends, in the laughter of every garage filled with the sounds of restored engines, and in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, patience, and unwavering support will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life.

At his request, there will be no service.  Please keep Chris, Kara and their family in your thoughts and prayers.  Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.  To share a memory of Chris or to leave his family a special message, please sign the online guestbook provided.
