POE, Chester, age 64, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Ora Poe; sister, Wanda Poe, and half-brother, Arnie Poe.
Chester is survived by his wife of 28 years, Judith Poe; children, Debby (Shane) Moore, Valerie (Donald) Cheek, Daniel King, Ray (Tonya) Poe, and Jennie (David) Boatman; 9 grandchildren; brothers, James, Lawrence, and Robert Poe, and sisters, Mary Jay, Dovie Shockley, Judy Hammond, Dellie Poe, and Audrey Tucker, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where memorial services will follow at 2:00 pm.
