Cheryle Jane Blevins

Cheryle Jane Blevins, age 69 of Northridge, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 3, 2026. She was born January 29, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio. Daughter of Frankie and Thelma Wheeler.

Cheryle was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved listening to music, watching scary movies, gardening, bird watching, and crafts. She had a large personality and enjoyed bringing laughter to those around her. She was a member of the Bible Study Gang at the Village. Cheryle loved a good pizza party and gathering all her friends together to play Yahtzee and cards. Cheryle had a passion for playing Bingo and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Cheryle was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Virgle Blevins; and her father, Frankie Wheeler.

She is survived by her mother, Thelma "Pris" Wheeler; children, Shannon (Matthew) Teague, Adam (Amber) Blevins, Jim (Danielle) Blevins, and Priscilla Blevins; grandchildren, Madeline (Brandon), Conner, Samuel, Gideon, Sarah, Nathan, Jameson, and Jackson; siblings, Larry (Patty) Wheeler and Melissa (Joe) Queen; a host of nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 1pm to 2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A memorial service will begin at 2pm. A fellowship meal will follow at First Christian Church, 6114 Fishburg Road, Huber Heights, Ohio 45424.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Village of the Greene for the love and care they showed Cheryle during the many years she was with them.
