Cheryl Ann Holtz, 66, of Beavercreek, OH, passed away peacefully at Trinity of Fairborn, on December 6, 2025. Cheryl was a proud, military veteran who dedicated over forty years of her life to serving her country both in the Air Force, retiring after twenty years as a Master Sergeant, as well as 20 additional years in the civil service where she retired in the 88th Headquarters at Wright Patterson Airforce Base as a Contracts Logistics Specialist. She had many accomplishments she was proud of including her Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University but most of all, she was proud of her children, Ron and Eric and Grandchild, Timothy, following in her footsteps and joining the Airforce along with her son, Andrew and daughter-in-law earning their college degrees and her daughter in law, Amy completing her Master’s Degree.
While Cheryl had complicated relationships with some family towards the end of her life, she was still loved and will be remembered. Cheryl is survived by her husband or 45 years, Timothy Albert Holtz, her children Andrew Holtz (wife Amy), Ronald Holtz (wife Ashley), Eric Holtz, and three grandchildren, Timothy Holtz, Jackson Holtz, and Zachary Holtz. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father Ronald Campbell and her mother Sarah “Frankie” Campbell.
In keeping with Cheryl’s wishes, she will be cremated at Newcomer Funeral Home and kept in an Urn on her fireplace next to her mom and dad at her home in Beavercreek, Ohio, with her parents’ cremation remains. She will also be surrounded by her cats and pictures of loved ones.
