Cheryl Lynn Burton

Cheryl Lynn Burton, age 71, of Beavercreek (formerly of Hillsboro, OH), passed away November 5, 2026. Cheryl was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 2, 1955 to the late Virgil and Violet Angus.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Mark Burton; as well as her brothers, Robert and Daniel Angus.

She is survived by sons, Jeremy (Ronni) Burton and Cody (Kate) Burton; grandchildren, Aubrey, Landon and Wyland Burton; sister, Rebecca Duibley; nieces, Heidi Laux and Gretchen Hobbs; as well as several other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Cheryl graduated from Beavercreek High School, Class of 1974.

Cheryl was kind and generous to all she knew. More than anything, Cheryl cherished her family and friends. She loved her children and her grandchildren deeply and they were her greatest joy in life.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm on Saturday, November 21, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek), where a memorial service will begin at 3:00pm.
