Charles Robert Proctor, age 76 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at StoneSpring of Vandalia. He was born August 3, 1942 in Oelwein, Iowa to the late Lavern and Lucille (Hold) Proctor.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Diana; daughter, Robin Proctor; granddaughter, Leanne Proctor and sister, Diane Cline.
Chuck will be missed by his loving sons, John Proctor, Jim (Adam Dudley) Proctor and Jerry (Mindy) Proctor; grandchildren, Autumn Zaminski, Michael Proctor, Amberley Proctor, Paige Proctor and Nathan Proctor; four great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Lannis) Proctor; numerous extended family and friends.
Chuck worked and retired from Walt Disney World for close to three decades of service wearing many different hats. He loved sports to include football, basketball, water volleyball, and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan.
Chuck was a phenomenal man who meant many things to many people. His charming, infectious smile could light up a room and make you feel instantly loved. A soft spoken man with a heart of gold; he was gentle, yet so strong. He loved his family and worked very hard to make sure everyone was always taken care of. His devotion for the love of his life, Diana was a true Disney fairy tale. The way his eyes lit up when she was in the room...one can only hope for a love like that.
As Chuck has requested, he did not want anyone to mourn his passing, instead celebrate life! He was very patriotic and requested donations be made to support a military charity of your choice, in lieu of flowers.
