Charles Rodney "Charlie" Neff, age 54 of Dayton passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017. Rodney was born in Dayton to parents, Maxine Hatfield and Charles Junior Neff. He graduated from Northridge High School in 1981. Rodney was a member of the Dragons Biker Club and loved to ride his Harley in his free time. Rodney enjoyed collecting knives and working on cars and bikes. He was a caring and compassionate father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Charlie was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Mullins; sister, Majeana Neff; paternal grandparents; and maternal grandparents.
Charlie leaves behind to cherish his memory, children, Sara Coyle and Charles Ryan Coyle; mother and step-father, Maxine and Lee Hatfield; father, Charles Junior Neff; siblings, Kaye (Paul) Mason, Larry (Von) Neff, Steve (Stacy) Neff; nieces and nephews, Brandy, Bryan, Michael, Matt, Chelsea, Kaley, Kyley, Stevi, Branson, Elise, and one on the way; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Newcomer - North Chapel from 4pm - 7pm. A second visitation will take place on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 9am-11am immediately prior to the funeral service, which will begin at 11am. Burial to follow at Willow View Cemetery.
A wake and celebration of Charlie's life will be held after the service on Monday.
