Morris, Charles L. "Charlie", 76, of Miami Twp., Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 27, 2018.
Born January 20, 1942 to Woodrow T. and Marietta Morris in West Louisville, KY. He was retired from Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Moraine City First Church of God.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Janet Sue Morris; children, Chuck (Gina) Morris, Sherri (Todd) Shaner; grandchildren, Mallory (Jeff) Bush, Michael (Kelsey) Morris, Jared Shaner; great-grandchildren, Carson and Kaine Bush, and numerous "fur grand-babies". He is also survived by his siblings, Lois (Mike) Weaver, Irene Crowe, Dottye (Bob) Moore, Judy (Jerry) O'Bryan and Woody (Louvene) Morris, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Moraine City First Church of God, 5867 Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45449 where funeral service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:00am, Pastor Donald Curtis officiating. Additional visitation on Friday 1 hour prior to service. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Charlie's memory.
Charlie's family would like to thank Walnut Creek Nursing Home and Hospice of Dayton for their care of Charlie.
