Charles Marsden

Charles Leo Marsden "Chuck", age 80 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born January 10, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Charles "Bud" and Mary Belle Marsden.

Chuck served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in Germany. He worked as a brick mason with his father and brothers until his retirement. Chuck was a member of the VFW Post #9927, AMVETS Post #2003 and the American Legion Post #598.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his sister, Mary C. Geitz and brother, Larry A. Marsden.

Chuck will be missed by his brothers and sisters, Gerald Marsden of Dayton, Thomas (Nancy) Marsden of Dayton, Rita Horn of New Carlisle, Linda DeVoe of Dayton and Bonnie Ewing of Dayton; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 5, 2020 from 12-1 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 N. Dixie Dr., Dayton with military honors by the U.S. Army.
