Charles H. Landis Jr.

Charles Harvey Landis, known as “Charlie,” passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2026.

Charlie was the son of the late Charles H. and Phyllis (Bissell) Landis. He graduated from Springboro High School and spent much of his career working for various wine distributors in the Dayton area. He later successfully operated a woodworking business, specializing in handcrafted wine cabinets and displays.

Known for his strong work ethic and great sense of humor, Charlie was a devoted father who enjoyed spending time with his close friends, particularly their trivia nights together.

Charlie is survived by his two sons, Jesse Landis of Franklin, Ohio, and Dustin (Mae) Landis of St. Petersburg, Florida; two granddaughters, Jolene and Lucille Landis; two sisters, Patsy (Bill) Reyer and Norma (Rick) Landis/Hoffman; his niece, Dr. Ashley (Eric) Contreras; and his great-nephew, Lucas.

Memorial contributions may be made in Charlie’s honor to the Warren County Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
