Charles S. Henderson, Jr

Charles S. Henderson, Jr., "Monk", age 66 of Kettering, departed this life on February 14, 2017. He was born on July 3, 1950 in Dayton to the late Charles Sr. and Ruby (Jackson) Henderson. In addition to his parents, Monk was preceded in death by his son, Michael Kreutzer; brothers, Gentry Jackson, Willie Bibb, and Marion Moore. Sisters; Janice Bibb and Ida Moore-Wilson.

He is survived by his daughters, Regina Edwards, Rochelle Owens, Charlotte (Glenn) Cochran and Veronica Ford; son, Leonard Thomas; grandchildren, Nicole Edwards, Michelle Edwards, Quayshawn Edwards, Kiesha Edwards, Allen Kreutzer, Alnette Judy, Darion Kreutzer, Aaron Kreutzer, Alisha Kreutzer, Michael Kreutzer Denzel Jones, Shakur Black, Shamarra Jones, Randi Jones, Lamyia Jones, Regiana Scott and DeShawn Thomas; great grandchildren, Demarannia Edwards, Marie Edwards and Ronald Johnson; siblings, Sandra Elaine Hall, Beverly Bibb, Veronica Wells, Patricia Sealey, Brenda Adkins, Jacqueline Henderson-Taylor, and Daniel Henderson; former wife, Priscilla Kreutzer; and a host of nieces; nephews; aunt, Ora Lee Holly and extended family and friends.

Monk enjoyed fishing, attending church and spending time with his family. He loved turning up the music and singing along out loud.
