Charles "Chuck" Frederick Ford, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026. Born on December 10, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, Chuck’s life was marked by dedication, passion, and an enduring commitment to those around him.

Chuck devoted more than 45 years of his professional life to Grismer Tire, where he built a reputation for hard work and loyalty. Throughout his career, he remained steadfast and dependable, qualities that endeared him to colleagues and customers alike. Upon retiring, he embraced a new chapter focused on family and personal passions, most notably dedicating himself to the care and love of his grandchildren, Jocelyn and Evalyn.

A man with a remarkable spirit, Chuck was also an avid motorcycle racer. His skill and determination propelled him to national recognition, at one point achieving the impressive rank of fourth in the nation. This passion for racing illustrated his zest for life and his willingness to pursue excellence in all endeavors.

Beyond his career and hobbies, Chuck showed extraordinary compassion through his commitment to blood donation. From 1994 until 2023, he faithfully donated every other week, accumulating over 450 visits. This selfless act of service speaks volumes about his character and genuine desire to help others in need.

Chuck is lovingly survived by his wife, Monica Ford; his son, Eric Ford and daughter-in-law, Tasha; his granddaughters, Jocelyn and Evalyn; his sister, Christine Nutter and her husband Jeff; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will hold his memory dear. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Yvonne Ford.

Throughout his 75 years, Chuck touched many lives with his kindness, dedication, and fierce love for family. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the generosity of spirit that defined who he was. His legacy is one of unwavering strength, compassion, and devotion—a lasting tribute to a remarkable man.
