Charles "Charlie" William Peters

Charles William Peters “Charlie”, age 71 of Dayton, passed away December 2, 2024. He was born August 8, 1953 in Montgomery, WV to the late William S. and Edna Mae Peters. In addition to his parents, Charlies was preceded in death by his siblings, Alice Johnson, Anna Bledsoe, Arthur Lee Peters and Roy Peters.

He is survived by his loving sister, Melissa Wilson-Terry; best friend, Dave Burkhardt; parakeet, Winslow and numerous extended family and dear friends. 

Charlie had a voice that allowed him to travel the world singing in the Dayton Rotary Boys Choir. He sang with his friend Tom Akers as a duet for many years and enjoyed every minute. Charlie was a kind soul with a heart of gold. He will be dearly missed.

He worked and retired from the City of Dayton after many years of service. 

Charlie’s wish was to have no services and his family will honor those wishes.
