Charles Bell
June 21, 1916 — October 22, 2015
BELL, Charles, age 99, passed away October 22, 2015. He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Hildegarde and brothers, Joe and Jerry. He is survived by his children, Susan Bell, Kenneth (Cassie) Bell, and Joseph (Karen) Bell, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Charles was a WWII veteran having served in the U. S. Air Force in Pacific Theater, as well as the Berlin Air Lift. After his service in the military, he was employed as a Research Engineer with the University of Dayton and Systems Research Labs. He was a gun enthusiast and a Life member of the NRA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on October 30, 2015 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1441 N. Fairfield Rd. Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Rifle Association.
