Charlene Rachel Tankersley, age 88 of Dayton, passed away on July 21, 2021. Charlene was born on August 19, 1932 to the late Charles and Ethel Campbell.
In addition to her parents, Charlene is preceded in death by her son, Michael Tankersley; brothers: Robert and Johnny Campbell; and Janet Tankersley.
Charlene will be remembered by her loving children: George Tankersley, Diane Wilson, and Larry Tankersley; grandchildren: Elizabeth (Shawn) Butler, Michael (Jessica) Tankersley Jr., Shannon Tankersley, Amanda (Brad) Thoma, and Alyssa (Josh) Haws; 6, soon to be 7, great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters: Gary, Roger, Joey, Jimmy, and Mary Jane; daughter-in-law, Hatasu, and many other loving family members.
Charlene was a kind and loving mother and grandmother. She was a very charitable person with a big heart that will be greatly missed.
Charlene will be buried at Willow Creek Cemetery at a later date by the family.
