C.D. Arnett

C.D. Arnett, age 76, of Dayton, passed away on December 30, 2023. He was born on July 17, 1947 in Salyersville, KY to the late Marvin and Jewel Arnett.

C.D. retired after 33 years of service from General Motors / Harrison Radiator. He was an avid sports fan, and some of his favorite teams were the Cincinnati Bengals, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Kentucky Wildcats. He also loved to both watch and work the "Chain" at the Northridge Polar Bears games. Although, his favorite sports to watch included any sport his grandchildren were playing. C.D. was an active member of the congregation at the Needmore Road Church of Christ. He loved to sing during services and study the Written Word. He was also an active participant in the business of the church and an active member of his community. His presence will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy Arnett; his children: Jeff (Abby) Arnett, Shannon (Robert) Wilson and Chad (Jennifer) Arnett; grandchildren: Shelby Arnett, Sydney Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Ashley Arnett, Connor Arnett and Jackson Arnett; his sister, Vickie (Dave) Caldwell; his "more than a brother-in-law", Mark (Swana) Spicer; and a host of wonderful nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Needmore Road Church of Christ, 2211 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45414, with a repast following the service.
