Carylon J. Stumbo, age 70, of Fairborn, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 10, 2018. She was born in Martin, KY to the late Oma and Luke Tackett. Carylon dedicated her life to her family. She took great pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She married her high school sweetheart, Herman Stumbo in 1963. They have shared 55 beautiful years together.
In her free time, Carylon enjoyed spending time outdoors; boating and fishing. Carylon loved to shop and could always find a great bargain. She will be remembered for her compassionate heart and generous spirit. She was a loving, caring, and kind wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Carylon was preceded in death by her sisters; Juanita Tackett, Justine Cantu, and Flo Wells; and great-grandson, Brayden Eaton.
Carylon leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband of 55 years, Herman Stumbo; children, Tammy (Jeffery) Fulton, Teresa (Bill) Cooper, Judy (Mike) Lowe, and Brian (Denein) Stumbo; grandchildren, Amber (Scotty Adkins) Fulton, Brandi (Eric) Mrenak, Casey (Austin) Cox, Cynthia (Chris) Eaton, Crystal (Jonah Stidham) Cooper, Christopher (Mia) Cooper, Chasity (Mike) Norris, Cole Medve, Haylee Medve, and Sydney Stumbo; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Jeffery, Peyton, Rylie, Aria, Zariah, Bristol, Makayla, Kyler, Jaxen, Kaymn, Sadie, Lysic, Hunter, Brentley, and Charley; brothers, Cleo Tackett and Harry (Brenda) Tackett; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Carylon's life will take place on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2pm at Newcomer - Beavercreek Chapel. Visitation for two hours prior (12pm-2pm). Internment to follow at Byron Cemetery.
